Our opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, communicative and experienced People & Performance Business Partner to work collaboratively with our team and guide them throughout the employee lifecycle. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving talent management, employee engagement, performance and organisational development, ensuring that our people strategies and initiatives contribute to the overall success and growth of the company. You will be a positive ambassador for the company and a positive agent for change.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and execute various people strategies that support achieving these goals
- Provide insights and recommendations on people matters, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding, to attract and retain top talent
- Develop and implement various talent attraction strategies leveraging our Employee Value Proposition
- Work collaboratively with the L&D Manager and L&D Specialists to develop and implement talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and other career development initiative
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by implementing employee engagement programs and initiatives
- Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and develop action plans in collaboration with leaders to address areas of improvement
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and address any performance-related issues in line with legislation and processes
- Drive organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, culture transformation, and process improvements as identified
- Support leadership development programs to build strong leadership capabilities within the organisation
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by developing and embedding people policies and procedures within the business
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on people-related matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and legislative requirements
- Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling
- Promote a culture of open communication and trust within the organisation.
What you need to bring to the role
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other employment related legislation
- Proven experience partnering with business stakeholders as a trusted partner
- Previous experience in managing the employee lifecycle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
