What you will be doing
- Monitor accuracy and quality across all communication sent to customers and respond to all communication within 2 business days.
- Prepare Year End Financial Statements including supporting documentation and reconciliations.
- Prepare and provide audit documentation to the auditors and respond to audit queries.
- Set up/input Utility integration information received from external Billing Agent and attend to reconciliation of same.
- Provide financial assistance to queries raised by Committee Members in regards to the financial management of the relevant scheme.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Provide additional financial services, where requested by the Committee in accordance with the agreement.
- Escalate complex queries to the Specialised Finance Team Leader immediately to ensure a resolution is obtained.
What you need to bring to the role
- 3 years industry or similar experience in finance/accounting.
- Ability to produce and explain well formatted, concise business correspondence and financial spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to use (and learn) multiple software applications (MS Office, MS Teams, MS Dynamics and StrataMax).
- Some understanding of Body Corporate/Strata Legislation and related regulations desirable.
- Takes a disciplined approach to personal & work life integration.
